You love to hike, bike, swim, boat or view wildlife. Tents, campfires and hot s’mores are your jam. You keep a fishing rod and travel-size case of fishing lures in your trunk. If your happy place is the Great Outdoors, we want you to show us.
In 2021, we’re challenging you to explore our diverse state park system. No matter your outdoor passion, we want to see your favorite way to play in our state parks, state historical parks, and state recreation areas.
We’ll be updating this page in early 2021, with contest details and prizes. We’re hoping one is an RV.

Get your special-edition parks permit
The Nebraska state parks system requires a park permit for each vehicle entering the grounds. Your park vehicle entry permit funds park improvements, including building upgrades, campground improvements and wildlife viewing restoration.
